HBWR extraction questions (s2dope's method)

After looking at S2Dopes method of extracting LSA from HBWR, I think I'm going to give it a try. I ordered 50 seeds from innerexotics who apparently have the most potent seeds (?) and plan on performing the extraction in a week or so. Here are my questions:

Is allowing the crushed up seeds to sit in lime juice for 30 minutes long enough? On Erowid and other sites, they always talk about leaving the seeds in water or acidic solution for 3-4 hours or even overnight. I'm concerned that by allowing them to sit for only 30 minutes that this isn't actually enough time for the LSA to be extracted from the seeds. Also, is it necessary to ingest the chunky pulp that the seeds leave in the water? If the LSA has been extracted into the lime juice, then mixed into the OJ, it seems like the pulp would be inactive, allowing you to discard of it. My worry is that the seedy pulp is what would actually cause nausea. Any comments on this?

Is 5 seeds a good dose to start out with assuming the seeds are potent? I want more than a slight buzz, hopefullly something spiritual while drumming on my djembe. I have quite a bit of psychedelic experience with DXM and acid, and a little with mushrooms/mescaline. Maybe people who have ordered from innerexotics could give some good advice on this question.

Just take the lime juice straight. Let them sit over night. Make sure the juice has no water and is pure lime juice.

5 is a good dose. Make sure you eat the seed mush also.

I don't understand the point of the limejuice. I must have missed something. Is it because the limejuice will extract the LSA overnight whereas eating the crushed seeds straight up would take more time??

No, I think capsules work best personal. I never ever get sick, heres my hippie TEK:

1. Burn seed whole. Hold it over the flame of the oil lamp. Burn until you just about to get it brownish black.
2. Scrape really fine until they look like dark peanuts (until it shines).
3. Run over flame fast this time, hold for the blink of an eye!
4. Polish seeds with purified water light damp cloth.
5. Polish seeds with dry cloth.
6. Grind seeds into powder.
7. Put them into empty 00 sized capsules you get at the food store (pack them tight).

8. INGEST!

I agree with shiftingwall, I have tried both the lime and capsule method. I experienced less nausea with capsules, but of course everyone is diffrent.

It was my belief that citric acid broke down/destroyed the glycosides (sp?) which make you sick.

I didn't notice much difference between letting it sit in the juice for 30 minutes, or 60 minutes. But I always did 60 to be sure.

I filtered out the seed pulp on a few occasions and tripped just as hard as I would have had I left them in.. but on such a high dose (18+ seeds, don't ask) it helped tremendously with the nausea.

Have any of you noticed a difference in nausea when ingesting the pulp at the 5 seed level? I really want to take everything in fear of leaving some LSA in the pulp if I don't drink it. Surely after an hour all of the LSA has entered the lime juice since LSA is water-soluble, right? S2Dope, I'm sure that the lime juice doesn't actually kill any of the agents in the seeds that cause nausea. The whole point of extraction to my knowledge was to get the LSA out of the seedy pulp and into the water, so you can discard the pulp which holds most of the nausea causing agents, but I could be way off. I think that by thinking the theory would make you less sick, it did just that...nice placebo effect going on. Does weed help with the nausea too? I'm thinking that a hit or two from a pipe when nausea starts to hit may help calm things down without making the beginning of the trip all hazy. Is this true? I know that sometimes smoking makes me even more sick while tripping.

Never tried it, but I heard pot helps. In fact, its a well known fact that MJ reduces nausea.

If the lemon juice is for extacting LSA, why not crush the seeds before? Its seems logical that it will make a better extraction. no ?

The nausea varies from person to person. There's no way to avoid it. I let mine soak overnight in lime juice, and then all day in my 20oz bottle of OJ. I got mild nausea when I walked around, but sitting down I was perfectly fine.

HBWR will make you feel like you weigh nothing. Just don't jump off any balconies. No, you can't fly!

Hmm how about grinding up the seeds then soaking them all night in pure lime juice. Drain the seeds and put them in capsules.

Does some LSA make it into the lime juice? If so then combining the 2 would waste the LSA in the lime juice.

How about putting it the ground up seeds on a petri dish. Pour pure lime juice just enough to cover the seeds. Let them dry over night until bone dry. Put the dry mush in capsules.

I thinking maybe since the seeds are relatively cheap, you could to the extraction with say 15-20 seeds. Then just drink the juice, tossing the pulp. Would this give you a strong trip with no nausea?

The strongest trip I had was with ~22 seeds with the pulp filtered. But then again it was like my 4th or 5th time in 2 weeks (note: tolerance), I wouldn't recommend this as someone's first dose.
