So I realize this is a bit odd but I just read that Katie Holmes divorced Tom Cruise to protect their daughter from scientology. I think it is respectable that she would leave one of the most famous celebrities to keep her safe from those nutjobs. I wonder how often this kind of thing happens in the "religion". I'm as tolerant as the next guy but you don't see me worshipping  star trek or living my life the way a science fiction writer would have me. Does anyone here have firsthand knowledge of scientology? I am curious about the lifestyle and moral code. I have already read Dianetics. Its a good work of fiction that's all I have to say.
