I am at the complete mercy of the mods and admins.

I consider myself a very cooperative and rule following member, and they still fuck with me and hand out bans whenever they feel like it.

I hate some of them, but love others.

Fuck the crooked ones. fuck em up the butt for ruining my favorite website

you were kinda the reason i created this post. although your thread was kind of a grey area. you did poke the bear but you didnt blatantly break any rules.

I feel like the mod who closed it just got offended and closed it

I really do try to follow the rules!

he may have been a gay mod. you were talking about calling people faggots. lol

im weight for a mod/admin to put there two cent in this post...

You can talk about it. You just can't have shit like "faggot" in the thread title. Them's the breaks, kid.

Then again Crystal G's thread is still sittin' there, I'm kinda surprised.

So let me get this straight, people can have avatars and signatures of people having sex with eachother, and all sorts of vulgar things. But I can't put the word faggot in a thread title?

If thats true, this website has some fucking issues.

They are two completely different issues. Unfortunately the thread where it would have been appropriate to have this discussion got closed.

It's because half the community here is gay and you are offending them. It's not that hard to understand.

Great question OP.

Fact is, it kinda depends on the forum. Low traffic forums like The Politics forum give more power to the poster. High traffic forums like this one can sway the power towards the Staff (Hell, we all moderate it).

There is a slight democratic aspect to all this too, if the masses think something is good or bad, it often sways the Staff's response.

But let's not mince words, Pris has a real life now. He can't watch this forum 24-7 like we all are used to, so we have a bunch of Mods, myself included, who are covering his absence. Frankly, we have less experience. We are gonna fuck up from time to time. We all take Pris for granted.

When we don't fuck up we still will do things differently. Pris is unique.  We can't do things the way he does.

So, things are gonna' change a bit in here. Not drastically. You are just gonna' see moderation from some newish faces, because this place does need moderation. Want less moderation? Try OTD.

If you want clarification for our actions, contact us via PM. If you get no reply, contact someone else. Staffers can't always do the popular thing, we do want to do things that make sense to most people though, at the very least so y'all can know how to avoid being banned and shit if you so choose.

But if Viva says faggot she gets banned for 12 days

I didnt know that mod was a homosexual
not like I called him a faggot

Infact, I didnt call anyone a faggot
I simply said so and so was acting like a faggot

Apparently I spoke to the wrong mod

Oh well , I have a gay brother. I know they like to cry like little girls sometimes.

Tell me about it. I said the word "nigger" once in a context where it completely made sense and wasn't directed towards anyone and it got edited and I was warned. Then when I had an argument via PM with the mod I got banned. I see "nigger" in a thread like every day in the Pub though.
