Those statistics may be accurate, I don't know, but my parents are both well educated, as am I.
I realize none of this is a personal attack against me, and I'm not offended.
Just wanna put it out there that there's exceptions, and its not good form to hear a name and assume anything.

I'm not aware of anything more recent, but apparently that data was from California and covered births from 1961 onwards. I listened to an audio book of that a while back and it came to mind when this topic came up.

As you say, you can't really draw those kinds of conclusions based on someone's name, they're really only talking about broad trends.

Years ago, when the Internet was a new thing and so were most of you, I started talking to a guy online who had the same name as me and lived in Scotland. I can't even remember how he got in touch with me, but we ended up chatting quite a bit. He even visited me when he was traveling across the US with his girlfriend. I had forgotten about that until just now, hmm.
