Renaming WA&F * 9

I suggest that we rename this forum.  It seems that anytime someone tries to give feedback about a mod or admin, the thread is locked with a stern warning to "stop bickering."

If feedback isn't welcome here, the forum should be renamed to reflect that.  Perhaps it should just be named "Website Announcements."

Calling an admin a douche isn't, no...but commenting about the quality of moderation certainly is.

The forum description says, "You can also post your opinions and suggestions about how we can make the Shroomery better"

If that isn't true, then edit that out of the description.  If it is true, why lock threads when people are doing that?

I see where you are coming from, but you gotta remember that these are PEOPLE with POWER. Honestly if I were an admin there is some stupid ass shit that Ive seen that I would have killed. Not about me directly (which is something Ive had a problem with and is what you are talking about) but some conversations get out of control and although they don't break rules I would consider stopping them.

Plus, who wants people to tell them that they suck at their job? If you have a real problem there are ways of "reporting" them to the "authorities" if you so desire. But how bout you not be a nark, man

That's not really the point, though.  I understand the desire to not flood this forum with personal squabbles.  I even understand the desire to keep challenges to disciplinary actions out of the forum. 

What I'm talking about is more systemic in nature.  We have some good mods and admins on this site, but we have a few really bad ones too.  If we can't discuss it as a community, then the problems fester until they become too big to solve easily.

As an example, just a few threads below this one is a thread about Tymoteusz3.  It was locked almost immediately.  Since it was locked, the OP got 11 +1s.  11 of them in a locked thread.  That says something.  At the very least, it says that the community would like to have a frank discussion about it.

Silencing complaints as quickly and efficiently as SYS does sends a clear message that the admins of this site do not care what the users have to say about it.  To add insult to injury, they tell us to file "support ticket[s]" that all happen to get assigned to an admin  that never logs on.  I still have an open one from 2 months ago.

I'm just suggesting that the site stop pretending to give a shit.  Just call the forum "website announcements" and use is at the place where the admins tell the users how it's going to be.

I wish they'd chill out a bit they seem high strung lately. It seems like threads are allowed to a point where people are debating or whatever and then the thread is locked without any real conclusion, probably like this one will be eventually, with a little 'Be sure to file that support ticket to an inactive admin if you have any questions :naughty:' They've always been relaxed but it seems like most are inactive now and there are a few people running the show. I just wish they'd chill. Feedback is good, a little debate is good, who cares. If not here disagreements will just go to other forums where they are actually off topic... unlike the actual feedback forum.

As stated before Enlil, since you obviously have a problem with my moderation, feel free to PM me, submit a support ticket, or write in my journal to make it public here.

(And that goes for anyone else).
I am ALWAYS open to discussions around decisions I make or improvements to my moderation, etc as long as the people talking to me keep it civil and mature.

I should make a night of amphetamines, fapping, amphetamines, fapping, amphetamines, and compiling a thread of threads that reflect exactly how far some people and the Shroomery have fell off. Seriously, the feelfamily changing OTD forever? An adults-only forum being concerned with technicalities and how something might read to others to the point of banning ZappaIsTravis for (not-so-blatant) "racism." Andy prodding people and making jokes at people's expense in WA&F, while doing the same in the same joking manner gets you banned? Some how mods can't be wrong, they always act like that'd be willing to talk things over, but talking it over really means you agree with them or they'll just ignore you no matter how poignant your complaint. Should I bump some koraks threads and posts... you know, that mod that was chose for his "maturity." If I don't like something I posted, can I Creepyistic it out of existence?

It's always the same staff catching complaints, at some point that can't be written off as coincidence or groupthink anymore.
These are just memories off the top of my head, I'm well aware how useless it tends to be dealing with staff and I hate to waste time.

This place is a joke now. I get more laughs out of WA&F threads than the degeneration of Mushroom Cult.

You know your website is hurting when the section made *for that site* is even more sad than tymo's moderation. Put a mod with an itchy trigger finger in cult and fix this place up. Might even learn how to properly lock threads.

So, I've been starting to think my tits are just too big for my frame. Some have told me to get them reduced, but I'm not sure about those nasty post-op scars. I wonder if there's anyone here who could supply HighRes, HD photos of the general breast area, including areola, post operation for me to see if the scar would be a deal breaker or not. :smile:
