I like nitrous, should move up a notch and get my own cracker. I'm thinking of going cheap...http://www.amazon.com/Nitrous-Oxide-Cracker-Dispenser-Aluminum/dp/B0085EE3AQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1379292393&sr=8-1&keywords=nitrous+cracker
On tat note, what kind of cartridges should I get? Does it matter if I buy a cheap cracker? It's metal, I've read the reviews, most problems people had were easily fixable. Advice, tips, warnings?

A good whipped cream dispenser is like 30 bucks and so worth it if you plan to do more than a box of chargers a month. Cracking hundreds of chargers by hand pretty much ensures some kind of freeze burn. Also, frequent use guarantees that it'll break, and it sucks when a cracker breaks at 2 on Saturday night and you've got a ton of chargers but no safe way to get the gas out.

You definitely need a glove when cracking multiple chargers. It gets annoying to do it by hand and its a slow process.

Haha, I've come across a few online, and heard a few "foaf" stories, but none of my own. The first cracker I ever had was plastic and surprisingly handy, but plastic can only take the freezing/thawing action for so long before it develops hairline fractures that turn into full breaks. Metal ones get the threading stripped after so often.
I like the dispenser because I can put a couple chargers' worth of gas in there at once, and the plastic on metal threading doesn't strip. I have two of them, but don't know where one is. I'm hoping it surfaces when I move in a few weeks. Also, I hope to find a 5 gram bag of mxe that may or may not be hidden somewhere here. Also my dab torch. Turns out I'm real good at hiding things.

The best cracker I've ever used was from a bicycle shop, and is intended for use with CO2 cartridges to inflate tires. I had to start using 16g cartridges, rather than the common 8g, but that's no problem because it has a trigger to control release.

I just got it at a bike shop for like $15, and it's very durable plastic. I get the 16g cartridges online. You get two lungfulls per cartridge, which is great when sharing.
It could be possible to stack coins or something similar in the tube to be able to use the 8g cartridges, since they have the same diameter.
