Girls were okay. Not as good as all the rich Jew girls at Syracuse, but not horrible either. Quarters were actually boss as fuck, they switched to semesters my last year there and it fucking sucked. Fuck semesters.

Most student athletes that I've had classes with were either pretty nice to have in class or irrelevant. DeShaun Thomas, Lenzelle Smith, John Simon, Storm Klein, Zach Boren, other basketball and football players as well as athletes from other sports. Lenzelle was the best, dude had so many stories about how fucked up recruiting was and shit like that. Helped that I had the same sports ethics class with him during summer (when classes were less serious and more concentrated with athletes) so he was happy to tell us about all the bullshit. Dude talked more than any other athlete I've had a class with. He was also in my group for a class presentation and he did way more work than me or the other guy did. It wasn't great academic work by any means, but he certainly put in more time than either of us did.

Maybe the ones i live by are just tools, All aggressive and shit.  What i love about college are all the foreign girls, i didn't even really know where the hell Armenia was last year, but damn do they have some fine girls.

Semesters kick ass because you can skip class and slack off a lot more than the compact quarter schedule. \
Im a business major and they offer sports management through the business school I'm tempted to take it, i hear ya just play fantasy sports and bullshit about sports for most of class.

Quarters and semesters didn't really make a difference as far as skipping class or any of that. It was just miserable to take classes for so long, especially after being in quarters for so long. In quarters week 9 comes along and you're basically done, in semesters week 9 comes along and you're barely over half done. It was a real shock, especially the first semester.

Ohio State's non-conference sched is fucking pitiful. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Buffalo. San Diego State. Florida A&M. Cal (who was 3-9 last year).

Anybody who has a non-conference sched that embarrassingly weak should be barred from having an opportunity to play in the title game.

Ah i gotcha, i've just been told they are harder because they compress classes and basically test for more in less time, but come to think of it they were semester people telling me this :ancientaliens:

Agreed, but virtually every SEC team does that as well. Alabamas is pretty sad too.

Had this discussion with my friend a few weeks ago. With the exception of a few schools (Clemson this year) almost every top program schedules the same. Part of it is basically getting lucky with your big OoC game. Ohio State scheduled Cal (when they were good by the way) and now they suck. That's out of Ohio State's control. The SEC is also notorious for playing ridiculous cupcakes late in the season.

Just for fun here are the rest of the top 10 OoC games (using the AP top 25):

Alabama plays VaTech, CSU, Georgia State, and Chattanooga
Oregon plays Nichols State, UVA, Tenn,
Stanford plays San Jose State, Army, and Notre Dame
Georgia plays Clemson, North Texas, App State, and Ga Tech
South Carolina plays UNC, UCF, Coastal Carolina, and Clemson
Texas A&M plays Rice, Sam Houston State, SMU, and UTEP
Clemson plays Georgia, S Carolina State, The Citadel, and South Carolina
Louisville plays Ohio, E Kentucky, Kentucky, and whoever the fuck else I don't even know who is in their conference but they don't play any ranked opponents (in or out of conference)
Florida plays Toledo, Miami, Georgia Southern, and Florida State

So that makes 5 teams in the top 10 playing any out of conference ranked opponents. Clemson makes up two of those games. Clemson is the only one to play multiple ranked opponents (both ranked in the top 10). And guess who most likely won't be playing for a national championship this year because of their schedule. Not any of the teams that have multiple top 10 teams on their out of conference schedule.

Stanford's is hardly a sleeper Georgia's could be hard depending if texas gets their shit together (they won't)

Clemsons looks pretty tough but the ACC sucks so that kinda makes up for it.

Damn im getting excited. Tomorrow boys

Pope Urban is starting to take some heat for turning a blind eye Aaron Hernandez's off the field transgressions.
