not many people on the low part of the scale and not many people on the high part.

It's quite bizarre, because practically every drug user out there smokes cigarettes, which is pretty paradoxical.

Though I have notice, people from the working class are more likely to smoke than upper class people. Which might explain why the discrepancy exists.

These are all based on statistical figures anyway, they have simply noticed a trend that non religious, non promiscuous, liberals are more likely to be smarter.

I could probably make the same predictions and connections with a million other things using simple common sense. For example, if you attended private school you are likely to be smarter. If you defy traditional gender roles, you are more likely to be smarter. If you are open to experimenting, you are likely to be smarter. If you read a lot as a child, you are more likely to be smarter. If you don't follow celebrity news you are more likely to be smarter. Etc. etc.

Not where I'm from, unless you're talking about alocholics.
I don't hang out with people that smoke cigs, they're mostly users or snooty.

When you say that you don't hang out with people who smoke cigs, are you saying that none of your friends happen to smoke them or that you intentionally avoid people who smoke them? Because if it's the latter I think that would be considered "snooty" which is ironic.

I'm gonna assume I'm wrong and that it's more coincidence that you don't currently associate with smokers.

They just base their whole life around smoking pot and cigarettes, it's not fun to hang out with them, because they don't like hanging out with other people or they are to mainstream to smoke pot so they smoke cigarettes.

And I'm not goin to tell people to not smoke in their own house so it's just a reason to not hang out with them more then once in awhile.
