well, i never said Hippocrates and Pythagoras (and whoever else :tongue: )were wrong, in their believes. :shrug: they can believe whatever they want, and if they're rational, then all the more power to them.

i am just saying that it's easy to prove how it's not ridiculous to say that people who don't believe in God, on average, are smarter then people who do.

No. I originally came in and checked off all the things that fitted me. Then I realized the article was saying most people who are smarter are liberals and don't believe in God which is BS.

Studies have shown a correlation between higher IQ and lack of belief in god/social liberalism. You can't deny the correlation just because it hurts your feelings and you don't understand how such studies work and what they mean.

i'm not talking about the validity of their beliefs in god. i'm just saying that belief in god itself is a bad measure of intelligence.

No, I didn't forget anything. (However, there are not billions of intelligent people who do believe in god and are socially conservative, and the fact that you think you're a highly intelligent bible thumper doesn't make that true.) Stop showing your ignorance. Correlation studies show just that, a correlation. Stating that people who are atheistic and who are socially liberal tend to be more intelligent doesn't mean there's any causal link nor does it mean there are no people for which this does not hold true.

Maybe do a little research before spouting off like you know what you're talking about next time.
