when it dawns on me

I was talking with the dog today. She's always trying to tell me something and its hard to know sometimes what she means. All of a sudden, it dawned on me. We were standing by the lake here watching the river flow when a heart pebble drifted slowly out of the sky and splashed lightly in the middle of the lake. I'd sort of seen it up there and may even have taken a closer look at one time or another but had pretty much forgotten about it till just this minute. The dog said, "see, see, see, see" and wagged her tail from one side of the river to the other. As a hand rose to smack myself in the forehead I noticed one of those gigantic cigar boats speeding around the corner, flaming red with rock and roll music blasting like in Apocalypse Now heading straight for us. We tried to run but the boat caught-up and spun a fast 90 degree turn drenching us in it's wake - a complete red-faced soaking! So I stand here now, beside the water, dripping wet, with this fuzzy poodle, who is much smarter than me, by the way, hoping that by the time we get back, they'll understand. My apology. That was thoughtless of me. :shake:

I think your dog was just trying to tell you she wants a speedboat and wants voodoo_lady to come for a ride on it with her, while we listen to loud rock and roll music....just a thought. I talk to my dogs too, one of my puppies,Luna, always tries to talk back.
