Pink Buffalo Harvest, Mysteries of UV exposed!

Awhile back I had started a study in the effects of UltraViolet and P Cubensis, and the tread can be found here. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/16093824

Yesterday I harvested The Pink Buffalos :crazy2:
There were 5 total monotubs(PB-1.1, PB-1.2, PB-1.3, PB-1.4, PB-1.5)
PB-1.4 and PB-1.5 were under UV lighting (12/12hr) and the yield was a bit lower and there were more mutants. The PB was made from an isolate so the genetics were all the same so the only variable was the UV light.

And now I present the (Wet) HARVEST:mushdance:
PB-1.1~1470g
PB-1.2~1450g
PB-1.3~1650G
PB-1.4~1350g
PB-1.5~1225g
AM~ 400g (the plate with no label)
Total: ~7545g


Total Harvest (wet) 7545g!

the UV did help make some very large shrooms:datass: its too bad the yield was a bit lower

I'm assuming the UV light tubs exposed to ONLY UV light, not in combination with ~6000K (daylight spectrum).

If this is the case, maybe your next experiment can be comparing the control (Daylight) to UV+Daylight combination?

This experiment only concludes that UV light alone does not produce better fruits than daylight, which is what I would have assumed from the start. For the best experiments, you should limit your variables and change only one. In this case, you removed daylight spectrum and added UV spectrum. Which change lowered the yield?

Great experiment though.

Accually the light is both UV plus 6500K but I think I am going to remove the UV and just do 6500K
