Sure, I've been meaning to post it here, I'll share what I remember.
When my dad was growing up his parents build a cottage out in the woods in a pretty remote area, but still loosely inhabited. Some of the people there live there year round, and some like my dad's family just go up there for a couple weeks a few times a year. One year they go up for a short trip and find all the fuses blown out. One of the neighbors told them that at some point since their last visit everyone there saw something with flashing lights hovering over the cottage. And let me tell you, that cottage has a really funny feel to it, creepy yet tranquil? Never been anywhere that feels like that place.
I don't remember much about the time it kept recurring, all I remember is he said that he would go out there every night to watch them, and it was a bit of a drive away.
The encounters are quite interesting. Keep in mind for all this that my dad is a pretty reclusive guy and hasn't told this to anyone, I even feel a bit weird sharing this even though it's anonymously. Anyway, one night he's at the cottage, as a grown man now, and he sees some lights out in the woods at night through the trees, so he went out to investigate. I forget what exactly happened next because it's not the more interesting part, but either the lights faded away, or he just woke up the next day with a foggy recollection of going outside, can't quite remember. The same thing happened a few times more, but then one night it was very different. He's sleeping in bed, and all of a sudden the room is completely filled with a blinding light from the window. His head is filled with the sound of dozens of frequencies playing at once, like the THX thing that plays at the start of movies. He said that he then felt like he was receiving a mental message, a friendly offer to come with them. He was curious to go, but a sharp wave of fear hit him for a second, they apparently took that as a no and turned out the lights, put him back to sleep, and gave him the impression they were leaving. At some point after, perhaps the next day, I can't really remember, but he found implants. So it seems like they asked him nicely to see if he would come willingly, and took him anyway. He showed me the implants, they're there all right. And he's not a crazy guy, he's really really smart, and he's never told anybody because he's pretty reclusive and really has no reason at all to lie to me about it. So I guess what I would say is I definitely believe that he believes everything he told me, and he's quite sane.
