Using Moneygram?

#18296366 - 05/21/13 05:27 AM (13 years, 4 months ago)

Not sure if this is allowed here, not breaking any rules to my knowledge so I think its alright. I was speaking to someone today who told me about a money transfer system called moneygram. I did a bit of research and it seemed as though it could potentially provide an individual with the ability to withdraw and deposit money anonymously. I decided to give this a go with a small amount of cash that I wanted anonymously transferred into bitcoins. I entered my local cvs and was directed to a red phone. I picked up the phone and followed all of the steps, chose the pay bill option, typed in my receive code, but after that, I was connected to a service representative who asked for my phone number, which would clearly negate an anonymity I was trying to maintain. Of course, I could have given a fake phone number, but I thought that using moneygram anonymous was much simpler. Anyone with experience that could enlighten me as to how I could go about transferring some cash to bitcoins anonymously, I would greatly appreciate any advice.

open a mt gox account, then money goes in at walmart ----> bitinstant ---> mtgox ----> whatever bitcoin address you desire

you can BS everything on bitinstant if you want and pay for it in cash in wal mart, mostly anonymous other than being on security cam
