Do you know any underground bands?

I met this band a couple years ago in Philly. I was traveling with an Ex, and we saw... "Evelyn's Ashes, Tonight! Half price drinks!"

I wasn't 21, so I didn't drink. We were just tired of Driving, so we check um out.

I guess I'll consider them "underground." cause I haven't met a person yet who has heard of them. Also, they usually only play small shows at bars, and halls, and Civic Centers. :shrug:

So... do you know any underground bands? And how did you find um?

Seems more like "underground" means "limited to a specific geographic area."  People into music hunt new bands down with utmost fervor so awesome bands that no one knows about doesn't really exist here.  Really, the only I music I listen to is pretty off the grid.  So maybe it's all underground?

I think this is my favorite "underground" band.  They are still pretty under the radar I suppose.  I think their new album is some of their best shit but that's not available on youtube.

Met these guys at an awesome show at a tiny venue in some small lake town in Minnesota. The ceiling was literally falling down by the end. And the lead singer took a bunch of cigarettes from people in the audience, smoked them all at once, then ate them while they were lit. Completely wild music:

Would love to hear an underground Trance, House music band in Bergen NJ that doesn't involve fist pumping. More like warehouse music of the early 90's, before it became mainstream!

Anyway, Joey Pecoraro is "underground". He was in my grade in HS and makes a lot of really chill beats.

PinKi & DA Bruin (bfake) - OK


One of my favorite artists (Ninja from Die Antwoord) started a personal page on Youtube. Posted one of this band's videos. I can only imagine he saw them at a show in Capetown. They have 400 likes on Facebook.

Uncle Nei-Nii (Gatbisshop) - Reel Smooth


Dude messaged me on Facebook to check out his music. I almost always do. I really like this guy's stuff. He's made a lot that I really dig.

The whole point of being on this forum is to find people with similar tastes and frankly unless your not protected through a firewall and a decent virus program, there should be no harm in Skyping. I'm a pretty open person otherwise I would not post a photo of myself.

Has the fact that illegal drugs are what unites everybody on this forum not occurred to you yet? We're understandably going to be a little weary of somebody trying to chat us up or meet up with us, especially if they have 50 posts (30+ of them asking people to meet up). I know the real identities of around 4 shroomery members, but they've all been here for a few years and are trusted and valuable members. And none of those 4 specifically asked for my facebook or my name - somebody asking for my facebook or any information right off the bat will surely get a "fuck off" in reply.

I never asked for your Facebook or your name. I said if you wanted to get to know me better you could Skype. Plenty of people skype, it's very common. I hate to sound like a broken record but unless you are not protected by a virus program, it should not be an issue. I'm not suggesting any hangouts right away. That's how dateline got to be so famous. I'm in my early 20's.
