Joie de vivre is a French phrase that means joy of life. It's one of my main life philosophies that means more than just being happy but appreciating each moment in life to it's fullest. I feel like these two statements about the phrase really encompass why I love it:

I feel like the worldview ties in nicely to my penchant for existentialism and humanism, and it's something I try to live up to daily. I love that it's my shroomery username because every time I post I'm reminded to enjoy life fully and to encompass my entire being in that enjoyment.


Also I really love the French language. I studied it for four years and it comes so naturally to me. I hope to get back into studying it before I lose everything I've accumulated.

I didn't know what to make my username and finally wanted an account after lurking for years.

I wanted a short and simple name to remember, without any numbers or funny symbols, so I picked that Foo Fighters song. Everlong just sounded cool at the time. :rofl:

It used to bug me because I haven't enjoyed anything they put out recently but I got over it.

I was musing upon the ways we can feel related as one significant organism, how the words we present through our display names can create in us a sense of bonding with the characteristics that that name represents from your view, then found Drkkenny works best for me since ppl have always told me Id made a good dark doctor.

An essay by Monte Cazazza experimental musician on the original Industrial Records in the late 70s. It was about the effect of advertising on children. I loved the ring of "Cereal Box Conspiracy" but over the years shortened it to the much more wieldy "cerealbox."
