Flowhood prefilter

This friend of of mine is constucting a flowhood, hes got all the goods, but a pefilter. He has been searching for furnacifilters and prefilters, with no luck. What could this dude use as a prefilter (has to be good, dont want to spoil the hepa right away)  :tongue:
Would polyfill  wrapped around a wooden frame work?
hes going crazy, thought of everything else but the prefilte when he bought the goods, and now all he needs is a damm prefilter :sad:
Please help this dude !

He really needs help with this, Anno where are you, u are the Flowhood master!

automotive filters can be rigged to be good prefilters
get a high peformance filter, some go down to micron levels...
