Check this shit out. It's hilariously overboard, even for this especially awkward phase of the rap genre. Me and my roommates could only figure that the other rappers, Kanye among them, are just trolling him... like it's a huge joke that 2 Chainz isn't in on.

No, I think you're applying too much thought to mediocre music.
It's just a bunch of imbeciles who have run their limited creativity to the ground, while being at the pinnacle of fame.

If you actually do some research on 2chainz. He's a pretty smart guy.

He graduated wit a 4.2GPA from NYU with a business degree. His music is mediocre at best IMO but he knows how to make money off that mediocre music. It's amazing what an intelligent person with business savvy, the right look, and a bit of rapping talent can do.

Fixing up the inner city so this genre's native environment goes extinct could be a good use methinks.

I don't listen to the radio or watch TV almost at all personally. Any pop music I know is usually from being shitfaced at college parties.
