If you have 10 minutes to watch an interview with him, here it is.




I can obvously not change your music tastes, but if you still dislike him as a person, you probably never watched the video...

And Bassnectar is NOT a dubstep artist,
freestyle EP proves that if anything,
and he never has been a dubstep artist if you knew anything about the scene you all so adamantly hate.

I don't dislike Bassnectar so I don't feel the desire to watch the video. My comment was about him being dubstep.

there has been some smack talk in this thread, but there are those of us who like both jam bands and electronic music and jazz and all kinds of music.
lets just all move on and talk about awesome shows, no matter what the genre, and cut out the back and forth of who's music taste/scene is better.
the pub is supposed to be a chill place, lets keep it chill.

i hate when people say bassnectar isnt dubstep

he is, sry to say it

some of his stuff isnt but like 80% of it is

back in 2007 u could say he wasnt dubstep, but now hes def dubstep

freestyle ep was all dubstep besides his one trap track

Guess I'll have to ask bassnectar what he thinks of hydrolysis next time I see him.
Also that spot everyone seems to be pointing at has great acoustics.

how did this become a bassnecter thread? I thought the original poster wanted shows that were similer to GD and we were talking about jambands?

dubsteps fine and all and it seems like a lot of people love it, just doesn't seem totally relevent. I don't know what the conversations about though as I just clicked on this last page and was kinda confused.
