When ever I'm out in nature and I occasionally see some shitty tags or scribble that is obviously from gangs, it is an eyesore and an annoyance . But if someone goes out in nature and decides to paint a masterpiece of sorts of a rock or in a cave, I have absolutely no problem with it :shrug: .



Man has always, and will always, leave his mark. Now if they left their cans & paint and other trash behind, now that's something I'll be pissed off about.

While i generally am against it unless given permission, i have to admit it was fucking hilarious stopping at mcdonalds this one time and seeing huge dicks spraypainted on the menu, that shits funny. They clean it off with a little effort so dont be gay and say how bad it is

just to be clear, i wasn't associating "tagging" in and of itself with gangs. i was referring specifically to gang tags that annoy me, because they are rarely done with any pride or even feeble attempt at artistic flourish. they're simply done to mark territory for their gang. i suppose it's similar with regular taggers especially when they form "tag crews" but at least they're in it for the art instead of their gang, whether they're any good or not.

i've never been up, as i've never felt confident enough in my drawing/painting abilities to do something i'd be proud of, but i've known people that were into it so i'm at least knowledgeable enough to know that.

Okay sorry. Yeah that is pretty pointless, fuck what others think get up if you want to. I used to get up when I was like 11 but after a while it makes you so paranoid. I grew out of it I guess.

it's less a matter of what others would think (obviously since you're using a pseudonym nobody's going to know its you other than your closest associates) but a matter of personal pride in seeing my work up in public. i'd have to practice and get better before i'd be willing to do a piece.

Good luck going straight to doing pieces. You want to start with bombing or throw ups first. Its a lot different than sketches, you need to learn can control.
