Ghosts

What can you tell me about ghosts? I have a basic idea that we are divine beings and have a non-physical component, so it makes sense that other divinities could visit your localised cosmos, but what is their significance? Why does the universe allow this behavior? Why do other divinities hang around? Why are they so scary?

I have just discovered I saw a ghost when I was younger, he was haunting the house, it was my father's dad and he saw it too, I think I remember my dad walking into the room when I was seeing it, and he reacted and turned away, then came back in and pretended he didn't see it, ... apparently he'd seen it before.

I currently say under my breath when I relax and ask my mind to confront the problem I'm having, things like, "muum! Muuu-uuum!"
"he's right there!", "he's right there mum!"

I remember a dark superimposed figure, possibly it was smoking a cigarette. It was just standing there, I think it looked at my dad when he came in.

This is a strange reality, or has strange aspects and behaviors in itself. I think a ghost is something very sacred, some kind of holy mission in progress. Our family home was falling apart, was he there to help?

I get MASSIVE shivers and goosebumps every time I picture the scenario, and the empty hallway at night. I have had dreams about the darkness zooming at me, about being a ghost swirling around the old house... obvious attempts of the unconscious to bring it to my attention. I think besides my anger at the physical abuse, there is this utter terror at this being and potentially its divine, beautiful eyes, but it all looked FUCKING. SCARY. to me as a child.

So just a visitation from a helpful friend who was displeased with his son's work? What do you think?

Supposedly Gentiles experience a great fear near the house of the Lord. I presume then that Israelites don't experience that fear.

I was once coached by a ghost while playing 8-ball; He spoke in my mind, without appearing, saying something like "It's where you leave the cue ball that counts"
