Seriously, this talk about getting "an asswhoopin" from the regulars on here at the time is hilarious revisionism. While I was hardly at my best then (still having issues with DXM until 2010; when my pancreas forced me to quit permanently), I don't see how people going 'socks for cocks' (thanks to a fucked-up edit) and calling me racial and homophobic epithets makes you guys look any better than me, other than with the libertarian asshole set that laughs at others misfortune (ie the endless "poop in a bucket" jokes). But then, maybe that's all there is here...types who jerk off to Ayn Rand. I hope not but my past experience has proven this to be the rule rather than the exception.

As for other boards, I conduct myself fine on D-F and contribute a hell of a lot more there than I would consider to do here at this point; and am on BL under a different name (not so much there due to the lack of quality control there at times; which is not a problem on D-F; I assure you). But either way the posts from D-F (and in general) read much better than they used to when I was still into DXM.

And no, I'm not living in a basement anymore; still with my gf (who I had just met a few months before my last 'shroomery visit in 2009) and although life can be difficult at times, it could be much worse (see: mid-2000s).

Seriously, I see "Prisoner#1" is still here; he can't be still 'moderating' the political boards with his openly racist views, can he?  If so, that says a lot about how this place didn't change.

So many problems with this place...barely better than the "Fourth Plateau" in terms of trolls; it has to be watering down what little useful info is actually here.

Shame, because the code it's based on looks good compared to other boards (not sure if this is a "harm reduction" board, considering the advice I've seen given here at times in the past). The users however need an overhaul of sorts (or maybe an enema would be a better way to put it).

Just wondering if the place was as rabid with the underage racist trolls as it was back in 2009. Seemed like there were hundreds of those back then. Admittedly, my 'fuck it' attitude at the time towards the place along with DXM usage didn't make me appear friendly to others; but between the open racism and homophobia of the political and OTD boards and somebody managing to hack my original 'shroomery account [thanks to me posting unedited IRC logs that included a password that I no longer use]...let's just say we think it couldn't have gotten worse since then, could it?
