Ovoid habitat opinoins
    #17497261 -

April marks the start to my search for ovoids.  I have several spots in mind but i am most confident in the one in the photos.  I will be searching along a large creek that flows into the delaware river (im located in south east pa).  There is alot of downed hardwood from Sandy and there are also beds of knotweed and dead grass. Im gonna start at the bend of the creek and work my way all the way down staying 3-30 yards from the bank.  This creek floods at least once a year and there has been one reported find of ovoids on the delaware rive.  You guys think i have any chances?

Looks promising.  They are where they are, sometimes perfect habitat will have nothing, sometimes you'll find them in woodchips at a park.  I'm just outside Philly myself, so I can tell you they're definitely around.  Good luck!

I'm about a mile from the DR in NEPA.  Found mine in the fall at lowest part of my garden [which floods momentarilly during the heaviest rains] in hardwood mulch in the full shade of a spruce tree.
