took delivery of my puppy today--check him out--pics

paid for him the day his mother bred--been waiting 5 weeks--also got pick of litter---dachshund full blooded but not registered--YET--his mother was a chocolate but there were none or never has been in any of her litters---i like the traditional black and tan anyway----when they start trying to get all those crazy patterns you tend to get a problematic dog as far as their health goes---cause of inbreeding--i will be giving him all of his shots myself cause i know how and cause im not going to pay the vet those high ass bills for something so simple-----

hell yeah---looks like a boxer ya got there----i had a damn good un when i was about ten years old---he started getting into the chickens though---game roosters that is---papaw done away with him---my uncle trains drug and recovery dogs for our police department---my other folks have always coon and bear hunted---a good dog is a damn fine creature it is

Yeah, Boxer. He's almost 4 now. A good pooch.

Good luck with the training and such. Be sure to read a lot and watch some Cesar Milan. He's helpful.

its all common sense and patience---these dogs right here are known to be a bit stubborn and aggressive especially around young'uns--but i think ill manage---can you believe these things were bred to hunt badgers--aint got none of those round here but we got plenty of rabbits and squirrels--my friend the breeder says his dont play around when they see one in the yard---they straight up run their asses down--haha

Weren't they bred to bait badgers, not nessecerily fight them?
When they yelped they'd yank em outta the hole with badger attached to the dogs face and then thump the badger. At least, that's what I heard. I know they have strong tail attachments :smile:

My buddy had a few of them, nice dogs

yeah i seen a dog show one time---the dogs were freaking amazing--at the end of the show he told the audience they were all from the pound---but yeah i agree with ya---this is a wasteful ass society though---hell theres an overpopulation of people as well as dogs and cats IMO

haha thats fucked up it is---and i bet the dumb bastards were always down for more too--them squirrels and rabbits dont do that shit though--them dogs tear their asses up---theyll corner it and take turns biting at it till its dead then drag it around the yard----takes a damn fast dog to catch a rabbit it does

dachshunds are also real nervous yappin ass dogs too---you will NOT walk up on my buddies porch without them going off---damn good security system if you ask me--if he can give me an extra second to get to my .40 he will be worth his weight in gold--and yeah probly should but it would cost my cheap ass $10--haha

That was the only thing I couldn't manage to do. He slept with me from day 1..and yeah, it was cute as fuck...all curled up next to my head.

Right on man. I love dogs. Whenever I get a house with a yard or some land I'm gonna get me a good hunting dog.
