your power
    #1747005 -

how many times i read
you feel like
you are at
the end of the rope

ready to let go
ready to forget forever
a deep deep hole of shit
and you feel
like there is no ladder

been there done that

it can be different
it can be better

you have to change your input
change your surroundings
change

big change

leave that job
leave that dick
leave that jane
drop that crutch
take that path you never have
talk to that girl you never would
go there

scared?

of what?

i mean apparently your ready to let go
how much worse could it be?

change your situation

and you want it to be better
you want to not let go
otherwise you wouldnt tell anyone here
that your thinking of it
just want someone to care

its kinda rude to make the ones that do actually care
feel so helpless
so ineffective

and besides
pain is more pleasure
then infinite nothing

and if you let go
no one will ever
know the truth
only pity

change the situation that is now
begin the tommorrow in a new way
always let there be tommorrow

dammit

or i will kick your ass

/me claps. That's a good way to put it, I feel the same way. I had to discover that on my own once, and I can say for sure, it is true.

I wish you all ceaselessly flowing moments of happiness.

no matter what, there's always someone who has it worse off than you. All you have to do is take a look around. If you can't see it, you are fooling yourself. Find a mentor, make someone your hero.
When I was a teenager, I used a lot of drugs. I got hooked on cocaine, and finally kicked it. I was a total dick for a month, and this led to me getting kicked out of the house when I turned 18. I didn't know what to do. I had basically burned every bridge I had. I turned into a street punk and got wasted for about a year, until I had enough, and was full of desperation, and didn't want to live anymore, but was afraid of being stuck eternally in the selfish moment of suicide. I took a leap of faith and moved away to a big place, sobered up, got in touch with who I really am, instead of masking it. I acknowledged the nasties inside of me as well as the good things, and accepted them. I got a simple job, paid the rent, my bills, and repaired the mistakes I had made in the past. I got settled in, and something beautiful happened. Then something horrible happened that I never wanted to happen, like one of my worst nightmares come true. Then I thought back to how I felt when I was younger, and thought about how I have things good, and how many others are much worse off than I. I feel I have made some good progress, although I have hit some bumps here and there. I have learned to laugh at my own misfortune, when it is not of my own doing, because I can't control outside situations.
Also, a good thing to keep in mind, is that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, kinda like a pendulum, so before you know it, you will reach the opposite side of the spectrum.
Words like these don't generally do much good for someone who is in the pit, but maybe this person might be able to cling onto a single something, and ride the wave in....
be fearless....
