ufc ppv tonite

Anyone here going to watch it. I want to see the valasquez vs Dos Santos 2 fight bad. That rite there is going to be a fucking war. Too bad i have to work tonite or id go to the bar to watch it. Who do you think is going to win this fight and how. I have to go with Dos santos by ko. I doubted him before and he always proves me wrong :lol:

Cain can't take a punch and will lose again, the UFC is a joke as far as i'm concerned. I use to like it , but now it's completely fraudulent like boxing. Tons of rigged fights, really bad matchups, the good fighters refuse to fight each other, there really isn't anything to see imo.

I don't agree with the second part.  The title matchups tend to be pretty damn stellar.  Just because Anderson and Bones don't want to fight each other doesn't mean "the good fighters refuse to fight each other".

They're all still trying to get the belt, and the title matchups tend to be premium.  Is it as good as the matchups and fight cards from Pride?  Not even close.


But I think the UFC's gotten a bit better than say, 2006.

Anderson didn't want a rematch with Henderson, he refuses to fight Machida, Shogun, the list goes on and on. GSP gets some questionable matchups lately, Chael gets fights he doesn't deserve, who gets a title shot after losing? Oh wait it doesn't matter in the WWUFC my bad..

Haha yea it sucks they wont make that happen. Valasquez fucking dominated  dos santos to get the belt back. It went all 5 rounds couldnt believe that.

That was a beating! Cain looked really good and I'm ready to see the rematch after Jds wins his way back to the title. And anyone who thinks the UFC is rigged/fixed does not know much about Dana white and the fertita brothers. Also joe silva is a great match maker.

Oh please dude spare me, all the setup fights TUF winners got, they push their product, and pad certain fighters stats, like Bisping. Lots of easy setup fights, rigged decisions, that they claim to have no part of, but clearly benefit the fighters they like.

Why does Jon Jones have to fight a loser from a lower division, because it's marketing BS. In what legitimate sport do you lose your way into a title shot? NONE!

Maybe the loser of the wildcard weekend playoffs will get into the superbowl, they would if Dana White ran the NFL..

Set up fights? Just because a tuf winner doesn't get an immediate title shot doesn't mean it's rigged haha. The tuf fights in the house don't even count on their record and its not unfair that they don't fight a top 10 fighter as their first UFC fight. You want to talk about a fighter getting padded/set up fights you should look at fedors whole career. He refused to sign with the UFC because he didn't want to ruin his "legacy" knowing he couldn't keep up with the top heavyweights he would have to fight.   

And as far as decisions go I hope you know the judges are old boxing judges that know nothing about the sport of mma let alone boxing. They are assigned by the athletic state commission which the UFC has absolutely no control over at all.

If roger goodell ran the UFC, fighters would be getting fined and suspended for punching too hard.

I don't think sonnen deserves the shot either but he got one because he's the only person calling jones out and the fans actually want to see that fight after dan henderson got hurt and jones refused to fight machida, sonnen, and still refuses to fight Anderson. Also technically Chael is undefeated in the light heavyweight division in the UFC lol.

And about the Anderson silva superfights, it's not Anderson ducking anyone. Dana white has been trying to figure out how many millions of dollars he has to offer both Jon jones and GSP to fight silva because neither of them want that fight.

Silva didn't want a rematch with Henderson? You obviously don't know that Dan had a choice to fight for the middleweight belt or the light heavyweight belt and HE chose Jon jones. I'm sure that means silva ducked him.

Silva can pick whom he fights and doesn't have to take a fight in a different WC with Jones if he doesn't want to.

I, for one, would rather seen Sonnen vs. Jones than just about anyone else vs. Jones.

I think Jones is the better fighter, but who the fuck knows.  I love Sonnen for his cocky self.
