Auditory Hallucinations

I've always wondered about auditory hallucinations with psychedelics. Does it happen? With which drugs? What are they like? Before my first trip I used to think that when your tripping you would hear a "breeze" or "mystical chimes", just out of nowhere. Has anyone every experienced that?

So if you have experience, share what your auditory hallucinations were, I find them to be an interesting topic :grin:

On salvia you often hear a woman screeching(i've also heard my name repeated for some reason lol). I think I had some auditory hallucenations on shrooms but im not sure.

I've heard phantom gunshots, car horns and fire crackers. I had a visual of the fire cracker before it went Bang! I interpret them as signs of irritation on the part of the discarnate entities that I have had the pleasure of aquaintance with.

Is it likely that one can get auditory hallucinations with shrooms?

Had my best auditory hallucinations the other day, you'll find you're gonna get more in silence. I've always had this one which is kinda like a cymbal being hit in reverse going from one ear to the other. But in silence I had these kinda bleepy, screechy noises, think old internet connection noise haha. And a really reverberated voice saying "TODAY!!!" found that quite amusing  :pipesmoke:

Amazingly vivid and realistic ones on Bufotenine (Cebil bean) freebased and vaporized.

An exact replica of my mothers' voice saying "mmmm doesn't that smell good?" probably because Cebil beans smell like amazing peanuts.  Then a symphony of what sounded like glasses and dinnerware clinking together and a quick succession of techno style sounds/song ending the whole shebang.

Bufotenine almost always gives auditory hallucinations with its' visions and loving body feel.

Favorite entheogen experiences in descending order:
1)Combo of oral DMT + smoked Bufotenine
2)Amanita (urine drank twice)
3)Mushrooms > Achuma 16"+cid(still need higher dose Achuma)> Cid (still need high dose)
4)Morning Glory-HBWR (+cumin, cinnamon aldehyde adducts) > Methyl chavicol (need more activators)
5)Salvia (need to try quid)

Auditory hallucinations most certainly happen with psychedelics.  I get a lot of strange auditory phenomena when I'm tripping alone.  One time I very vividly heard what sounded like a buzz saw and a car crashing into a building at once, and I stepped outside only to find my neighbor had simply pulled up into his driveway and gotten out of his car.  It was pretty damn bizarre.

I've had some very strange and so surreal auditory hallucinations on mushrooms before. Walking around in the woods during the night gives me crazy animal noises. Sometimes with visuals of the trees moving it sounds like the branches are creaking over dramatically.

Another time on the come down of a trip in which I thought I was back to baseline I could hear my thoughts racing. The noise sounded like someone fast forwarding a VCR.

I've also experienced auditory hallucinations.  Many different different forms.
LSD
Mushrooms
Datura (I held conversations with others)
Molly
Methamphetamine (again, conversations.)
DMT
Mostly changes in music or voices, strange ringing or animal noises, occasionally voices.
I have a permanent ringing, cricket type sound that I am sure is from massive doses of substances.
DMT voices were very cool, like a whisper of a woman... On many occasions.

When i smoke cannabis i get very intense and vivid auditory hallucinations. Ive been smoking right before i go to bed and then enjoying the crazy trip i get when im laying there in the dark. Im not sure if the hallucinations are ACTUAL hallucinations, or if im just really high and can't tell whether its just in my head or not. Ill have like legitimate trips inside my head, and i know for sure im not making it up though because it is completely random and sometimes i dont even know what im seeing.

But anyway, yea id say cannabis always gives me auditory hallucinations. Plus everything around me is really loud to me, but its quiet at the same time. Like if i am watching TV, itll sound really loud but i can barely hear a word they are saying if that makes sense.

I get auditory hallucinations whenever I am about to fall asleep sober. I'll hear weird shit and think did I just hear that? I then hear something else and then before I know it I'm waking up and it is morning.

I also hear shit when I do pot. I will bug and think I hear somebody calling out but then I'll realize I'm just really high.

I used to get all sorts of auditory hallucinations when I first started smoking weed. Usually sounded like 80's video game type sounds.

When tripping, I hear all kinds of things. The freakiest is hearing a conversation in the other room when no one else is home. Or hearing the tv while it's off.

When tripping at the beach I always hear this sound that sounds like a billion crickets chirping. It's a strange sound, and I only ever hear it at the beach. Must be the ocean talking to me.

I also get this weird effect, usually a day or two after a good mushroom trip. Everything sounds likes it's under water. Kind of like when you were a kid and put your face up to a running box fan and talk into the fan. It usually lasts for about an hour. Sometimes it gets a little scary 'cuase I'm totally sober when it happens.

Anyone else ever have something like that happen?

Cannabis quite often if not always gives me auditory hallucinations. I always hear something that sounds like soda fizzing. You know when you pour a coke and it has that foam and making that sound. Listen to it very closely just as it clears up. It makes a very weird distinct sound and I hear that very often on weed.

The cymbal in reverse ear to ear is pretty interesting! Also the reverberated voice lol.

For those who have had experience with this, are they voices that you recognize? Like family or friends? Or does it sound like strangers? That would be creepy as fuck!

I get the same sober too! It's always voices, just little sentences or words. Find it really cool, and it tells me I'm about to fall asleep haha. I really should write some of the things down, bet it'd be interesting to see if there's any correlation or whatever.
