Na he was way to strong minded 4 LSD, and even if he did trip it wouldve bored him!!

Bob loved his ganga, I really don't think he would have had a use for LSD. He was down to groove, not get grooved into a groove.

It's probably better that he never tried it. Maybe he could have been the ragga-dub Sun Ra?! That could have been cool, but probably more painful than relaxing.

Since LSD was a synthesis of a naturally occurring molecule (ergot)
it's highly unlikely it was utilized by Bob or other Rastas.

BUT I would not be surprised if he ingested it by mistake
as it was so easy to conceal.

Things made in a lab should be frowned upon in general.
To extract something is one thing but to make it plastic so to speak
is not good.

Just investigate the reasons why Huxley and Wasson promoted these things so heavily. To control people. Wasson is a stooge for CIA among other evil connections. 
Not that they needed control but their paymasters certainly used those figure heads of the so called psychedelic movement.

I would not be surprised though if they used Mushrooms of some sort.
I don't see why that would be out of the question since traditionally been used for a long time in many cultures.
