Since I'm new figured I'll introduce myself, and I might change my XBL gamertag to this name :D

Sup everyone! I sort of introduced myself in the psychedelic board but when I read that this is the forum that actually encourages it, well... here I am!

I'm a university student studying classical philosophy and computer engineering. I like playing guitar and violin and... dr00gs of course. I have an ADHD diagnosis which I fit perfectly, but I just take that to mean I'm fun to be around :smile:. I'm also a huge metalhead and enjoy programming, especially anything with AI or game development.

Much of my psychotropics querying of google has led me to posts on here and I'm excited to now actually be part of the boards and hope I can make useful contributions with my knowledge of psycho-pharmacology, although I'm a total n00bling when it comes to shrooms.

I used to have a rule against anything that could make me "see shit," but when I accidentally had my first trips with an Ambien script I was forced to take in a mental hospital and accidentally stayed awake on when I was discharged, I LOVED it, and while it wasn't spiritual in any meaningful sense, Ambien gave me my first contact with solid state intelligence and with visual hallucinations.

Cool name man! Lol @ the cop smiley... my only reservation on changing my gamertag to my name on here/reddit is that it would take the 5-0 that much less google-fu to find me if they wanted, but I did have a business card potentially get snagged during Operation Log Jam so I'm probably on a watch list anyway :grin:

Haha I remember my first experience on a heavy dose of ambien, although I didn't hallucinate at all. I remember taking a few mgs to help me fall asleep for the first time and I got a good feeling from it so the next day I did some research and took a considerably high dosage, I was falling all over the place trying to keep my balance from my kitchen to my bedroom, laughing hysterically on the floor at my significant lack of motor skills. After waking up outside of my bedroom door I continued to abuse the rest of the ambien bottle throughout the week until my tolerance built up to the point where I needed 4 times the amount I took the second time to feel a little off balance. Anyway welcome to the forum :grin:, I've only been here 15 days and have really found myself to like majority of the community, and just as I was told my first day... You will never leave

Haha no intervention or 12 step group can save me now :wink:. For hallucinating off ambien, you need to be in a very dark/dim setting or it kills the visuals. It's not proper hallucinating per se, especially not to the degree that Datura and DMT can do, for instance... it's just misinterpreting what's already there although Ambien tends towards anthropomorphizing feelings more than anything else... makes me feel like I'm not alone even when I am. Especially the time a massive and tall, translucent "Where the Wild Things Are"-looking creature appeared in my bedroom, or when this lanky, 10 foot long shadow man slithered in through my window and laid down on me. That second one's happened multiple times. I could write a book on abusing Ambien, but there's always the Dan Carpenter jinx to worry about.

Gotta be careful with that shit man! It's got such a low blackout threshold and it's GABAergic so it's all the danger of being drunk hehe. Last time I did it I took way too many and started loading up my maxpedition bag and texting friends to go squirrel hunting in a local park LOL.

Yeah I no longer abuse it just because it is so hard to get the effects I'm looking for, probably not as dangerous as Baclofen(my experience) tho. heh...
