Any IPOD Experts in the house ????

To make it short .....

Was walking saw dumpster looked in found a Hindi family dumped there life and went elsewhere.......dug around found lot good stuff and a 20 gig & 1gig IPODS

The music on both are unreal awesome i want to get it off them cause the batteries in both are DEAD don't last for Shit ?!?!

So I guess a big problem I have is the only Apple anything o own is stock and that won't help so anyone know how to move or copy wats on it to anything.

there's dozens of sources for ipod batteries and they're not too difficult to
change, battery for the 1 gig would probably be more than it's worth

well you need an ipod charger of some sort, and a cable to connect it to the computer.

then once its all charged and connectable, you need to download a free program called Sharepod. this allows you to rip all of the music off of the ipod.

if you just want to delete everything and put all your music on, or just add more of your own music it to it, you just do it normally through iTunes.

anyways, you need a charger, PC cable and to download sharepod and iTunes.

Ya was my sons idea to look found an entire life beautiful bed covers I kept clothes for a male female and  like 6 yr olde I donated toys my son plays with  she liked to draw have her sketch pad sh was decent artist he was in tech had tons education accolades recently wrecked their car have compete Hindu resume its fascinating art work wooden compounding bowls

Each room was garbage bagged and tossed it was wild I rescued bamboo plants

I'm not a thief dumpster diver for sure lolol

I got the cord for them

Love love love music on both so exploring replacing the batteries that sounds like a win


Also gonna look into that rip program u suggested because like u stated it must have taken a while to load all that music but with the batteries being in the state there in the charge time take forever and lasts like 2-3 daze tops

So if anyone cares the 2nd link batterydepot is great

TOOLS VIDEO & BATTERY 17 & 20 BUX  so like just over 40$ for both considering they were given up for trash seems like a good good deal

before I bought an ipod I looked into battery life, I still get 20 hrs of use
from mine between charges and it's about 5 years old now, I also wanted to
make sure that I could swap the battery without much trouble if I needed to.
