Pandora - Best Thing Since Sneakers?

Right now I am listening to The Eagles do Hotel California live.  The live version I should say.  Before that I had Joan Jett doing Crimson & Clover.

Pandora is pretty awesome but sometimes it throws in some "related songs" that are totally unrelated and terrible. I think once I was listening to a Beatles station and Nickleback or something equally terrible came on.  :lolwut:

It is weird that way, tossing in bits of trash.  But I like the trash too.  Tune up the punk and reggae and look out!  You have no idea what you will get.

Got Freebird crank in' out now.  It just doesn't get better than this.

Yeah Pandora is pretty good, but the only problem is that they don't mix their music.

If you're into house, trance, dnb, or the like, the mix is really important. If the DJ (in this case, Pandora) just "cuts" from one song to the next, it kills the vibe.

Spotify - best thing since sandals.

Really tho, Spotify is leaps and bounds better than pandora or last.fm IMO. The premium version is just amazing, and the free version gets the job done damn well.

Every website you visit and have visited is able to get that information. It's just a simple script any of us can use. If you're worried, start using proxy servers when on the web.

There are hundreds if not thousands of them, it's basically a website you go to that re-directs you to let's say, the Shroomery using their constantly changing IP address, and other tracking information instead of yours. A simple google search should help you more.

Agreed. Spoitfy is the perfect source of finding tracks and artsits in my liking. It's a sort of like a combination of pandora and itunes.

I use Pandora almost exclusively now. I used to use last.fm all the time when I mainly was on my computer, but their mobile app had bad reviews so I got Pandora and I've been pretty pleased.

Without security measures (anonymizing software, proxies, etc), anything that you post can easily be traced back to your computer/smartphone. So don't incriminate yourself. Although it is long since Nixon was in office, the drug war continues.
