Moving Day!

Got the call last night. Moving on the 26th of this month! WOOOOO-HOOOOO!!!!

Just paid for the uhaul to, and have it waiting for me at my local shop. :snoop:

Unfortunatly my father has to go in for a surgery consultation for his back that day so he can't drive the uhaul the 100 miles north, so I'll have to do it. It's a little intimidating but it should be fun.

The biggest vehicle I've ever driven was a Dodge 2500 with a 4 inch lift. This is much different :lol:

Gonna make sure I pack my checks/envelopes/stamps in the glove box, along with my camera so I can take pictures of the place and the awesome view, and the town, and post them here when I get to an internet connection.

I won't have my own cable/internet until after the 1st of December, but I'll just go over to my sisters house and use hers when I can.

I'm so pumped!!!!

:lolsy: speaking of which. My bro gave us a ride up there at the beggining of the month to look at it, we all got out of the car, and he locked the doors. My kid was still in the backseat. Hah!

I think I'm going to download some hemp video's on how to make bracelets for a hobby.
While I don't have internet and all.

Having watched many people in U-Hauls I have 3 bits of advice for you.

Always attempt to park where you will not have to back up. If backing up is a must, use a spotter.

Watch the overhead clearance.

Take your time while on the road. U-Hauls do not stop as well as one might wish.
