I made it a point to save some seeds this time, normally I just eat the
bastards but those damned kids of mine always wanting to plant seeds, currently
they're growing an avacado in my bedroom, it's like 2 feet tall and filling out
pretty well and I have lemon, key lime and the pomegranate seeds to plant now

if you have a good chef's knife or a cleaver you can use it, I use one of the
3, the machete always impresses my kid's friends, just make sure that what ever
you use, use the back because it seems to work more effectively and you dont
lose any fingers in the process

Damn I never considered drying it. I've thrown so many ruined bunches of cilantro away because I ran out of things to use it for. But yeah, I put it in salads, soups, anything Mexican, stir-fries, and even on my pizza. Makes everything so much better. :yesnod:

I love that about curry. Leaving to go somewhere and coming back to smell the wonderful aroma. Our apartment used to always smell like an ethnic food restaurant. :drooling:

eggs are easy as fuck to peel, you just have to be smarter than the egg


I have a strategy.

I put them in the cold water, start cooking them at high. then as soon as it starts boiling, I take a spoon and crick the shell. That way the water gets in between the egg and its shell. It peels off easily after. But its still work.

this is an easy one

pick one up with some tongs and run it under cold water until its not boiling hot anymore

then lightly drop it a few times in a paper towel on a hard flat surface until theres a few cracks on all sides of the egg

then just put your palm over it and roll it around on the paper towel until theres like a hundred little cracks in it

makes it very easy to peel

It's the really fresh eggs that give me a problem. End up with a pile of shell and eggwhites if I am not careful, or lucky.
