Not the best solution in the world, but....you might try Suboxone.
Suboxone is generally prescribed for those who are trying to kick the opiate habit but have a hard time due to withdraws, etc., or it can also work for pain control. Suboxone is a narcotic, and as such it is up there with all the other painkillers, potency wise, but in my opinion it is better, because:
1. It does not constipate you. That's right, opiate users, no more pulling your turds out of your ass with nitril gloves!
2. One 8mg strip/pill, which dissolves under your tongue, will stay in your body/system 24 hours.
3. It is a seratonin agonist, so you do not feel lethargic like you do now.
4. It is actually NOT addicting. Paradoxically. At first, you will feel a buzz, maybe even vomit, but the euphoria wanes with regular usage of Suboxone.
5. Reduced withdraw symptoms, compared to other pain killers. This means that 24 hours after you last took a dose of Suboxone, you will not be feinding for more the way you would if you were taking percoset or something stronger more regularly.
6. No pill slavery. Your life will not revolve around where you are going to get your next bottle from. You will not feel the need to go into your local pharmacy wearing a ski mask. Every pill popper knows the desparation I am talking about: you have none of that on Suboxone. You are you, whoever you are, as you would be normally.
7. Suboxone does not depress you or affect your mood negatively. Oxycodone makes a lot of people irritable, but Suboxone does not.
8. It does not show up on most drug tests, like the ones used by employers. I get random UA's while taking Suboxone and never come up hot.
I have taken hydrocodone, tramadal, oxycodone, percoset, morphine, dillatid, darvosets, all by pill, and hands down I prefer Suboxone to all of these. It is a fantastic drug.
The downside to Suboxone is that it contains another drug called Naloxone, which is notmally prescribed or rather administered to those who are ODing on opiates, because Naxolone kicks all other pain killers off of your brains receptors and makes all other pain killers null and void. It is difficult to say how long of a life Naxolone actually has. But I can tell you one thing: I got off Suboxone and took percoset 10's (each of which contains 10 mg of oxycodone, for a whole week, and did not even feel the percoset at all. I quit taking the percoset and got off of it, because I was wasting it by taking it, when it was not working.
This will not be a big deal to anyone UNLESS you are injured and you require IV pain killers immediately for pain control, because your blood pressure is up to 190 and the Suboxone is not strong enough to kill the pain. In that case, you would have to tell the hospital what you are taking so they can figure out an alternative for pain control.
