TLG no longer accepting mail-in orders

Well, after giving it a go we've decided not to accept mail orders anymore.

There are a few reasons (ie: proof of age, having read disclaimer,etc.) for this but the underlying main reason is that it's just highly inconvenient for us to keep an organized mail pick up operating efficiently from our new location.

We understand that many of you prefer not using a credit card or bank account. For you people there are still some fine vendors that do accept cash and money orders. I would suggest Sporeworks or Ryche Hawk.

Everyone should remember that mushroom spores are 100% legal for legitimate research purposes in all but CA and GA so those using a CC or Paypal should not have anything to fear.

Ryche is my suggestion. Never been wishy-washy, does buisness as always and carries very dark syringes.

If I were to continue to accept mail-ins then my service would go way down as we would only be able to collect the mail like once a week. There would be such a pile of orders by that time that it would completely slow us down trying to play catch up. That's not fair to anyone.

In essence, I'm keeping our usual good speed up by making this move.

We haven't really accepted mail-ins for months anyway so nothing is really changing on our end.

I think it is and always will be (unless the laws change) a bad idea to do credit card transactions for spores. They keep records and you leave a definite trail to whoever owns the card. Its very easy to make the order, and I love the speed and ease, but still a bad idea depending on what you do when you get them.

I would hope someday that you would return to mail because you are the only other vendor I would prefer to order from when Ryche goes down. I have ordered from you and it was very pleasing :smile: Weigh out the cost and add more help, many underground hobbyist like to keep it more stealth, CC ordering is like placing a flashing light over your head.

One thing you could do, if possible would be to have the CC info present more generically to kind of hide the fact about spores. Are there some rules that you have to be totally up front on how the transaction is recorded? I dunno, maybe there is a thread about this.

ChromeCrow, the creepers are a must have, you will enjoy them.

Alien, when people order from us via CC or Paypal their statements are completely generic. Nowhere is the word "spores" found, nowhere is the term "syringe" found, and nowhere is there any indication as to our website address. I wouldn't have it any other way.

You would be amazed how many people have ordered through us this way without a single complaint about their billing statement.

We do put some thought into these things you know.  :nut:

For fear of sounding "wishy washy", I doubt very seriously we'll be offering mail ordering again.

No, but CC processing companies are required to keep records of transactions for dispute/ fraud protection purposes.

Actually, my kitten prefers using credit cards via paypal, especially when it comes to ordering spores. There is much less risk of possible interception, which is very important to my friend.  My kitten has always had exceptional service and quality from TLG (clearly not the issue here :smile: ), and not only that but any information on her card statements are incredibly vague.  Anything you do electronically will always carry a risk, but the benefits for my kitten clearly outweigh the bad points by far.

That quote from our site just proves that we are very up front with our customers and we want them to be as informed as possible.

As I said in the initial post, if your not comfortable ordering with a cc, there are other fine vendors in which to turn.

The only products we sell are legal products for legal purposes. The only record a cc company will have is a transaction between consenting adults involving a sale of a completely legal product for a completely legal purpose. Now if this still concerns you then please, by all means go elsewhere.

Are you trying to bully me into accepting mail orders?

Give it a rest.

No bully, I am not like that box. Just personally pissed that you dropped mail order to be honest.

I am in no way trying to fight with you, just want you to know that a good vendor (as yourself) should have mail order.

I am not bully anything, do as you wish and forget me, I am nothing here anyway.

This is just a decision that we felt was the right one to make, even after considering all sides. We knew not everyone would be happy.
