The reason I started this thread is that she told me she is a fork in the road when it comes to accepting this. Should she go full steam ahead, or drop the idea completely.

She was meditating in her class 2 days ago and the guide was getting people to clear their negative energies. She kept thinking about her biological father and how he OD on heroin when she was 3. She said she felt angry about it which she never realized she felt before.

Once she let go of the anger and felt a weight lifted, she clearly heard "good job (her name)". When that part of the class ended she asked if anyone said that. Her guide told her it was her spirit guide communicating with her.

She is not a sheeple. but I am wondering if she is being too influenced by her guide. Like I said before, I'm going to schedule an appointment to check these people out. We'll see... I'll update this thread after I have my session.

that feeling of deja vu, in my experience it comes from those dreams but you
may not remember having them, I agree, to some degree we can see something in
our future but I'm still up in the air over the how aspect, I'm torn between
a sixth sense and that something weighs on your mind enough that you
subconsciously allow it to dictate future actions. the latter doesnt explains
some dreams that I've had

I feel if you are accepting of this as a possibility, it begins to permit other situations some form of credibility, however slight it may be, in reference to mothers decapitating their children because 'the devil' told them to do so. Rather than accepting this women's claim that she was instructed to commit these acts of senseless violence, it is clear that she was experience extreme psychological distress.

I am open to all possibilities, not the rigid constraints of the physical universe. I take everything with a grain of salt so I am not going to accept either view as being totally right.
She's not crazy or schizo at all

The thing is though is that it's not all about what happens to me. I still remember a dream I had when I was in 5th grade, about being in art class and sitting next to this girl, I ended up dreaming about the collage she made out of all these cut out shapes and I remembered the dream in detail and the picture she made fit my dream exactly, it happened like a week after I dreamt it. I have another example that I don't even tell people cuz I just look crazy haha, whatever it is, it's weird as hell though.

I don't believe that humans have a real 6th sense. We might have intuition that (MAY) be right, but I wouldn't call that paranormal, just instincts.

Whenever I think of shamans, physics....etc... I place them all the same category... "Spiritual" nonsense..

She can guess your friends children? Meh. Whatever... it's a 50% chance to be right, she could just be lucky in that aspect.

You'd have to have some serious real life proof of that intuition being above normal senses to have any real merit.

Guess I shouldn't care about mentioning it here. But when I was probably about 11 or so I had a dream about a new house I was moving into, remembered the details of a few of the rooms and the front/back yard and the location, and around 6 years later we moved and the house had the exact same interior, same yards and was in the same county. As soon as I went into the house it felt extremely familiar, it took me like a week to remember that dream though but I was thinkin about it throughout each day. That's the biggest example of those dreams I get occasionally.

I'm open to another explanation, but still Idk why I would remember that same dream the exact same way.
