My wife believes she is psychic

I'm not sure if I can fully commit to the idea that my wife can communicate with spirits but I cannot deny she has crazy intuitive powers.

I have seen her get a perfect 7/7 when she predicts the gender of her pregnant friends or relatives so far.(tells them after she has a dream)
She is definitely an empath. She senses what people are feeling and can pinpoint the cause within a few minutes. It is no wonder her friends and family always come to her first for advice. Although sometimes they don't like what she has to say.

She recently opened up about communicating with her "spirit guides" and sensing places with intense energy.

Right now she goes to a meditation class with 2 apparent psychics and they have "confirmed" that has the ability, it just needs to be cultivated. She is now reading obsessively about chakras and spirits and whatnot.

She dabbles in shrooms (maybe 4-5 times a year, nothing more than 2g)
and recently (this past weekend) I gave her a dose with some syrian rue. It was quite intense for her and saw 3 spirits (as shadows) standing behind her brother.

She tells me I have to see her "healer" to align my chakras so I will be aligned with the new vibration of the earth. I dunno, I believe in spirits and reincarnation but sometimes have a hard time accepting what I don't see.

What do you guys think, possible? or not?

I think psychotic is  a more appropriate word than psychic

Supposedly some Amazonian Shamans under the influence of Ayahuasca can see the sex of your baby and see that you and your wife have parasites, which will later be confirmed when you go back home and check into a hospital for feeling sick.

I believe in what can verifiably proved through scientific methods and logical reasoning. When it comes to situations where people are communicating with entities that I, or others, cannot objectively see, hear or experience, I get extremely weary and usually find myself questioning the individuals psychological well being.

I don't believe in chakras and all that, but I believe a lot of people have "psychic" abilities to some extent. I've had more than a few dreams that end up happening not long afterwards, but just really simple shit, I won't ever be able to tell lottery numbers unfortunately :sad:

Naw not psychotic, we get along great and she doesn't go on about it all the time. It's not an issue, just something I'm trying to understand.

I'm going to see her psychic and see what it's all about. Haven't made an appointment yet but I'll play along for now.

I'm kind of with her for like half of what she's saying. The rest of it is a little to wacko for me, but hey she's not hurting anyone right? I believe a lot of what she's experiencing is just really good intuition, which I feel like I have. Also being able to assess situations and people based on experiences from the past and having a good guess at what the outcome of said situation will be. But I don't claim to be psychic.

A lot of people just have more intuition and influence than others.

I understand the idea of being an empath.

Bottom line is that she's someone people really put faith in, easy to relate to, has a good sense of judgment on how things will turn out for other people, etc.

Or, hell, she's an empath and this shit's all real. Who knows.
