QFT. I hate being a smoker, but am hopelessly addicted, and smoke far more than the occasional cigarette. When I first started smoking at 13, I rarely smoked. Now at 27, I smoke a pack and a half a day, usually. It sucks. I hope to quit somehow within the next two years, before I turn 30 :thumbup:

That's crazy. I smoke a pack every 2-3 days. I don't even smoke a whole CIG at a time it makes me sick. I usually smoke half and half later.

I've been smoking for 9 years. I hate it. Makes me feel I need one every time my hands are free, but mostly when I'm stressed. Throughout those 9 years, I have been really stressed. Now i am fighting a lung infection and weigh about 115 pounds. My doctor thinks i may need to be on some sort of oxygen tank. It's a lot of stress on the body, mind, soul....

I'm 21 years old. 9 years is almost half my life. I'm only wasting it. It's stressful. Most smokers are irritable, specially when you've been smoking for years.

I don't always smoke a whole cig, and occasionally put cigs out after just a few puffs. But I don't generally smoke partially-smoked cigarettes because they tend to be gross, so I go through a lot of cigs in a day.

My health insurance doesn't cover the costs to get the tests I need done. When my nana was in the hospital because of a mild stroke, she just quit. Been 8 years for her now. But she had a damn good reason.

If you might need an oxygen tank, that's a damn good reason to quit, IMO.
