Well the guy paid via paypal and I gave him the account. All was good. A day later I get a notice saying the charge was disputed by the buyer and paypal was refunding the money and my account was being locked or someshit. The guy had my account and paypal took the money back and he scammed me hard. I was furious. I bombarded paypal with emails and calls, I had tons of evidence of the transactions, my entire email history with the guy, screenshots, the whole 9 yards. It took almost 2 weeks of fighting but I eventually miraculously won and they gave the money back.

Then I called blizz and told them my account had been hacked and got it back. The guy emailed me saying he knows people and he could ruin me blah blah blah, basically threatening me and I told him to get fucked, you had the account, I had the money we agreed on, fair trade. You try to scam me, you lose.

Then I sold it again for 2k.

The next time I sold it, I made it clear if using paypal, the money would have to clear to transfer to the bank first (3-5days) before I would hand over the account entirely.
Paypal is a scammers paradise, in favor of buyers. They always side with the buyer in a dispute, it's amazing that I won my case.
If you are going to buy or sell stuff on paypal make sure the person is legit, phone call helps. Using an escrow service or a place like markee dragon or mmobay where people have to build a reputation is also one of the best bets.
