Pigs can do absolute fuckall about it.  The volume going through the mail is enormous, and the USPS is underfunded to fuck as it is.  Unless you're ordering k's of peruvian coke, you have essentially nothing to worry about. :smile:

Im interested in visiting the whole silk road thing but I know jack about what to do. Can anyone give a step by step type of tutorial on the best way of getting on/conducting business. Exactly what steps do you have to use to "be  careful" vs. being a dumbass and getting busted. Or what dumbass behavior will get you busted?

No I will not give you a step by step tutorial on how to get on the site or conduct business there, but I will offer a few tips if you happen to make it there.

Don't order to somewhere you have no business checking the mail at... Like the postman is going to deliver mail to an empty house anyway. Every lost package drives up vendor costs which are then passed on to consumers. Don't make everyone else pay for your stupidity.

Don't go talking to all your friends about the site. All it would take is one asshole to alert the cops to incoming drugs to your address.

Don't go trying to open a P.O. box with fake identification documents. That is a crime in and of itself and there is the chance if they catch the fake IDs they give you the box anyway but look long and hard at what you receive there. Many vendors do an excellent job at making their packages blend into the mailstream, but if you've already caught the post office's attention with fake IDs, overseas letters or packages coming from medical marijuana states are going to be painfully obvious.

A quick google search will give you such a thing. It's not hard, quit being a baby and use the internet, it's all out there, just learn to navigate it.

Dude I've used the internet. Every site you go on has some sort of advice that is contrary to what another says. Just wanted to get some advice from someone that has actually been on there first hand. I get the feeling most here haven't and are just talking shit. Don't try to get a PO Box in someone elses name? Don't send to an address that is uninhabited? No shit. I meant how to go about completely covering your tracks, best way to use bit coins, how to be untraceable vs. leaving some sort of tracks. etc.

Get tor browser bundle, Go to silk road, make an account, find what you want to buy, figure out how many bitcoins you need to purchase, purchase said bitcoins, I use bitinstant it is easy and can be done pretty much anywhere. Then send your addy with PGP encryption, then just wait. You will either get the drugs you wanted (99.5% of the time) or a love letter from customs (.3% of the time) or nothing at all (.2% of the time)

Don't know what else to tell yeah.
Thousands of people use it a day, if not more. Be secure and you'll be fine.

Nah, the opposite is true.  It needs to come out in the open and normalized by the public.  The more attention the better.  Drug users have been marginalized for so long.  Hiding in the shadows does not help that.
