Blotters numb tongue

Someone put three blotters under their tongue and it made them numb.  what may cause this?

^^^ there's a slight numbing sensation associated with 25i-NBOMe.  I'm not sure about the rest of the 25x series.
It's a super fun psych, but just be careful with dosage as eating a 5 strip can be easily more powerful than a 5 strip of good L.  Lots of people pass this stuff off as acid, and customers that don't know they got 25i instead of LSD can end up eating too much.  Start low, titrate your dose.

im pretty sure its l but like the paper is numbing my mouth.  Idk how fast 25i kicks in but its been like 45 minutes and going strong

When I've dosed 25i, it seems to take a little longer than L to kick in, but I still get first alert within 30-45 minutes.  I'm not super experienced with this chem though, and I've not taken more than about 500ish mcg at a time, so others that may have taken it more than I have can chime in with their observations.

I've heard of the dyes used for artwork on the paper occasionally giving a slight bitterness or soapy taste (Like the Hoffmans), but I've never heard of blotter itself causing localized numbness. :shrug:

Were the blotters a standard 1/4" x 1/4" size, and a standard thickness?  If it hit you within an hour, I'd say it's safe to rule out DOx and if the blotters were standard size it's probably safe to assume it's not a 2c-x either.  25i is the only RC I know that causes localized numbing where you place the blotter.

IME, 25i has less mindfuck and higher music appreciation vs. LSD.  It's about as stimulating as L and the visuals are very similar.  For someone that doesn't know the hallmarks of both chems, it can be very difficult to distinguish the difference.  All in all, just enjoy it; 25i is a very novel and worthwhile psych in my opinion.
