First post - Hydroplaned a truck...

I was just browsing around on here and read the post about a girl getting hit by a poster on here (accidentally of course) and dying from the impact even though he was only going 30 mph. It made me think how lucky I am because I survived this wreck.
  This was about two months ago. I was running late one morning and I was driving a 98' ford ranger. It was raining and had been for a few hours before I left my house. Being late, I decided to pass a car that was going 60 in a 55 a few miles outside of the city limits where I work. While passing the car I hit 90 mph and as soon as I got in front of it I hit a puddle of water and lost control of the truck.
  I hydroplaned at 90 mph. The truck started spinning and I crossed the other lane, went off into an embankment (backwards luckily) and I could feel the truck about to flip with all of the pressure forcing me up against the door. Right before the truck started to flip, the bed of the truck hit a tree which killed most of the momentum and I spun the opposite way to a halt. The airbags went off without hitting me and I stepped out of the truck without a single scratch.
  I wasn't shaken up or scared either, which seemed odd. During the wreck I just knew everything was going to be ok. Figured this would make an interesting story to accompany my first post.

edit: this story is probably abridged and what really happend is you were hydroplaned in a chase after known drug smugglers :cop:
