No. You really haven't.

Then please enlighten me with an objective definition covering all of these products and I will say they're not arbitrary.

Maybe the legislators would hire you as one of their lawyers if you could actually accomplish this.

We aren't have a logical debate. That is the thing. You're making an argument, and I think most people here are calling you dense and illogical.

But keep on thinking you're making a super awesome case. Good for you.. take it to the courts :laugh2:

I don't have every single one memorized offhand but I know for a fact that "intoxication" or ANY references to inducing subjective mind states are not even mentioned once.

Yes, but the way the test work is that they only test for the metabolites and not the chemicals themselves. And, the metabolites in the banned chems are identical to the metabolites in the unscheduled ones.
:bigyesnod:

So why would they be drug testing you if no intoxication isn't one of the terms of your probation?

so you dont even know the terms and you're blasting us for it even though
probation terms are pretty much the same across the US, and an exact wording
isnt necessary because of the 'reasonable person' aspect of law

Re: Probation and arbitrary rules about "spice" [Re: luvdemshrooms]

Because the terms encompass certain well known, well defined illicit substances...like any prescription drugs not prescribed, I think they encompass most street drugs and of course alcohol...but no mention of anything as subjective as "intoxication" or any other direct reference to the mind state these well defined substances might produce.

Okay...so I'm being illogical? And you're the one claiming that rules can be written before the words/terms in those rules are actually adequately defined? Cool story bro.

Since you're so smart, please explain how spice is NOT a "marijuana-like" alternative to marijuana.

Listen...if you can create an objective, all-encompassing and legally enforceable definition for "spice," then I will admit my argument was flawed and accept like a 1 month ban. Cool?

Cool story bro, but like I said I would gladly spend time in jail if it meant there was even the slightest chance that I can cause them to revamp their arbitrary, fucked up rules. I think being thrown in jail for possessing chamomile would be a good start to this.

But it won't. Because they don't give a fuck about the points you are trying (and failing) to make.

You seem quite angry, and that'll fuck you for sure.

Now everyone is just going in circles. The fact is that they haven't been able to objectively define "spice" and you can't make claims about what something really is before you have adequately defined it in the first place. If "marijuana-like" was an objective enough term then we would have federal blanket bans by now.

They (probation) don't have to.

lol I'm not angry at all...why would I be super pissed about 2 days of community service?

And you are wrong...the judge in this case was about 1000% more receptive to the arguments I am making than most of the people in this thread.

I did not read the monumental posts in this thread, and I'm only stopping in to say a few things.
I'm on probation in NJ - on the contract I signed before my first time pissing in a cup, I agreed to not do xxxx drugs, etc. AS WELL AS SPICE, SYNTHETIC MARIJUANA OR SYNTHETIC THC BLENDS.
Mine was right in the contract. Now I know for a fact they don't test for it here, but still. It was in the contract.
Also don't know about by you, but if you're found in possession of spice in NJ, on probation, even though it's legal, you violate probation.
