It'd be cool if you guys used an alternate map generator (like 1.7.3) and mods like Buildcraft, Industrialcraft, and Redpower. Adds so much to the game if y'all never tried em.

Ya'll can take that sub domain if back if you like, no worries here. I didn't intend to take the shroomery server over, just provide an alternative for you guys.

On a side note, If total doesn't get his server back up and running or has no interest. You guys are always welcome :lahey:

For those of you who don't know, it takes a little bit for bukkit to update after a minecraft update, so no, Im not updated yet. We use a few important plugins on the server, like permissions and homes and stuff. I also am making a new map but keeping the old one in multiverse when we go to 1.3 so I can copy and past people's creations over, and so they can go back and raid their chests and such to bring to the new world.

So I have kind of a weird thing. I found where I want to build my base, it's a village out in the desert, and I am at that place now but unfortunately I have died. I haven't teleported back to spawn though, I'm just at the "You Have Died" screen. I can't press the coordinates button to find the coordinates, and the map isn't online, so could Audio teleport to me and find out where I'm at, or is it a lost cause? It's out in the middle of bum fuck nowhere and I probably won't be able to find it again.

PS Minecraft is awesome and when I return home I will have the internets so I will make a triumphant return

PPS has anyone tried minecraft tripping? I think it could be awesome, or maybe not, depending.

If it's on Audios server (the way you worded it didn't make it so clear) then you can check out the online map of the server.  I'm not sure of the address but you can ask audio.

PS I don't think the current map is permanent, I'm not sure what's going on though.

Current map is temp, I have the old map saved and once multiverse comes out with 1.3 I will throw it up along with the new map so that you guys can build new stuff on the new map, and raid your old stuff.

Basically I am just waiting for pluggins to be updated. People really wanted to switch to 1.3 so It was really the only way I could do that.

Yea it's on Audio's server, sorry bout the mix up. The dynamic map is down, but since the map is temporary anyway I'll just say fuck it and go about my business. (I also feel a lot better about finding one of those new desert temple/fortress things and setting off the booby traps and blowing it all to hell)

Audio, I don't know if it's possible, but how would you feel about using the seed from the 1.2 world for the new map? That world was the cat's meow. I don't know if the new world generating algorithm would make the map the same, though. Just an idea.

PS more shroomery people need to play when the mods get going again. I Started talking about smoking a bowl on the server and people were all WTF droogz R bad and I pitied the fools.

They were probably just trollin'....but, hey, I still need dem coordinates.

I've had too many near-death experiences with a-lot of stuff just to die and go back near spawn.

I was lost at sea for days, then I found land, a village, then burned it all to the ground.

Hahaha, I have tried desperately to find chill people but I'll admit I am just saying "Fuck it" for the time being until I get the plugins going, after that I'll weed out the derps as much as possible.

as far as the map, no I can't use the same seed, It won't make the same map.
