Coa after a few days of binging, recouperating laying on the couch with a blanket and watching episodes all day feel like the greatest thing in the world to me, and there are a shit-ton of episodes for that star trek shit. I've pretty much watched everything already for the shows that I know I like.

Currently-made shows I'm interested in:

Game of Thrones
Walking Dead
Newsroom
Breaking Bad

Not enough episodes to go around tho. Maybe I'll start a rewatch of GoT. Might review Newsroom so far, too. I'm liking more than I expected to. If you've got any really good suggestions, let me know!

TNG is an awesome show. The later series were cheesy enough that they mostly appeal to diehards, but TNG just all around kicks ass.

You love TNG but have prolly already watched them all and would be envious of getting to watch them for the first time. I haven't watched much of it, but didn't get into what I watched. If only we could each swap half of our problems with each other.

Well, I guess if it's not your thing then it's not your thing. Farscape is another great science fiction series, a lot more surreal and trippy than Star Trek and more of an anarchist feel. Firefly is good to in a similar way to Farscape, not surreal but it's about smugglers on the frontier of a big empire. Battlestar Galactica (not the old one from the 70's) is military themed but really "gritty" and depressing, that one is about the last of humanity getting hunted down by robots.

Later tng is good but earlier is terrible. St voyager is good too. The episodes in season 2 and 3 are quite trippy. Plus it has 7 of 9. Enough said.

TNG some of those episodes were so funny. One of my favorite ones was when Riker is trying to get a being that has no sexual orientation to fuck him.
Aw man so many good times watching that show think ill smoke and watch some more on netflix.

They're in the process of remastering all the original TNG episodes into HD... surprised no one's mentioned it yet...

I use to watch the Old Battlestar GAY-Lactakuh (what my brother use to call it) eons ago.

I would be up for another Star Trek Show. But no crap and something that would appeal to a larger Non-Trekkor Audience

Yeah last I checked into it they had released a teaser of 3 episodes and I downloaded rips, looked pretty good. It was the pilot and a couple random episodes.

I watched the HD pilot recently. It was gawjuss, but a weird downside is that brand-new imperfections in the sets are now visible. :lol:

I've been having lengthy DS9 marathons with my housemate lately. I first saw that show when it was new (and I was about ten) and I had no appreciation for it, but watching it again when I'm older is a trip. There's a lot I didn't understand seeing it younger.

The original series looks pretty awesome in HD too. DS9 is one I never really got into, maybe I'll get a good copy and watch it from the start though. I remember several characters being pretty annoying.

Babylon 5 was a really similar concept and started out pretty hokey, but from about season 3 to the end it was pretty awesome. The costumes etc look great but the CGI effects are super dated, the nice thing with all the star trek series was they stuck to models for the ships until CGI developed to the point where it looked just as good.

I was looking for a blu-ray rip of season 1 just now and there is one from 2 days ago, it's in 720p though not 1080. I'm going to check it out anyway.

Man, all this talk, now i want to go through and have a DS9 marathon.
I can't wait til I can afford a a couple large hard drives. My friend has all of those shows on his computer.
