Lactuca Virosa extract, no effect?

Hi everyone, I used the search but found nothing like this particular case.

I just collected around 6 plants lactuca virosa, around 70g wet.
Then cutted it into little pieces and put it in boiling water and let it boil for around 5hours.

I let the water evaporate and got around 6-7g extract.
Me and my brother smoked around 2-3g of it, but no effect could be found.

Did I do something wrong or works letuca not for everyone?

I think i heard that they say that lactuca is worthless psychedelically speaking

Jea it is not psychedelic but relaxing and we got no effect, absoloutly no change of state.
I read in a german forum and also in other international forums that lactuca has at least an effect...
