Germinating Passiflora

I have 5 varieties of passiflora, How and when would you guys reccomend germinating them? some of them i plan to plant in the ground but most i want in pots on a trellace

I planted some in the summer of last year,and it took them until spring of this year to sprout!

My caerulea sprouted in about 1-2 weeks. Under a fluoro, with plastic wrap over the top of the pot. Just press the seed (pre-soaked in water in my case for about 24h) onto the soil, it's not necessary to fully cover it (maybe not even recommendable). Moist it, be patient :smile:. Voila.

Tropical species of Passiflora probably don't require anything but moist, warm conditions. Some subtropical to temperate species may require cold stratification like KBG said about P. incarnata.

cool i have seeds for actinia, maliformis, edulis, flavicarpa, and incarnata. of these which would be the easiest to germinate and grow? like a good first try, before i prepare the rest of the seeds
