trippin through the woods PICS!!!

I had my wife drop me off a couple of miles from our apartment this afternoon. I hiked through the woods and across some streams while moderately tripping on some cubes. i was bare foot most of the way. I made it home just before dark. here is what i found along my journey.

the above images show an amazing bouquet of forest life. The dead tree is wrapped by a thick woolly vine. The dinner plate looking fungus on the side of the tree has a healthy layer of green moss sprinkled with tiny white flowers from the vines above.

The holes in this beautiful purple tree are from a wood pecker. Unfortunately i never spotted the wood pecker, but the fresh saw dust was still at the base of the tree. perhaps i scared it away as clumsily tromped through his habitat.

all the images were taken with my phone. i want to invest in a quality camera. Any suggestions?

ive never done that before. after a while, i just said the hell with my flip flops. It was wonderful. I had a couple of brier thorns to remove when i got home, but it was well worth it. I remember steeping on a huge decomposing log and going straight through it. It made me feel powerful, lol.

I have a Sony Cybershot and love it. Its super easy to use and they have a pretty flexible price range with all the models.

If you wanna go ham though, get anything with Carl Zeiss lenses.

Your feet will toughen up quick if you keep the bare feet going. I only wear shoes when I am required.

As for a camera, look on CL, you can sometimes find a good DSLR for a couple hundred dollars. (Don't know what DSLR is? Google that shit! lol)

Do you want digital or film? I have a 35mm camera that takes great pictures and it was only 40 dollars with two lenses. Although it takes more work to share pictures on the internet. It is fun flipping through hard copy pictures though.

Im thinking digital. i just hate the idea of buying something now that will feel obsolete in a couple of years. However, as long as a good lens can fit multiple devices, i wouldnt have a problem investing.

yes! I LOVE being barefoot. especially in the woods. it fucking RULES. Obviously I gotta wear them to class and work and stuff but outside of that, no shoes, no socks. I drive barefoot as well.
Like it sounds very weird to people, but there is nothing better than smoking a fat joint with your friends in the woods with no shoes on...
Every time I have dropped Acid with my friends we have been barefoot in the woods for substantial portions of time... my friend lives in this dope lake community, woods all over, and beaches all around this lake, the sand was fucking incredible.
