Bitter = Spitter
Also watch out for 25i, it's not very bitter but it leaves the area a little numbed feeling.  Not like novacaine or something, just a little bit.  Though 25i itself is fucking GREAT, it's not worth $7 a hit.
If the hits are larger than 1/4"x1/4" be wary.  Also beware of hits that are super thick, it shouldn't be thicker than like notecards.  Maybe construction paper.  Just mainly watch out for stacked/layered paper.

If it's mail order see if they are willing to send a hit on the contingency that if you like it you'll purchase your entire order plus the one hit.
If not just get there and put a hit on your tongue before buying, then spit it out either way once you taste it.

Otherwise you're gambling.  I'm not sure of any other ways.  I've heard of a blacklight trick, but it's risky because A) some fake acid has UV-reactive chemicals to make it glow, B)  Not all LSD glows under a blacklight, C)  Even if it contains LSD and glows, there's no indication of quality.  I've had some "LSD" glow under a blacklight and after 3 hits and copious amounts of weed, the furthest I went was "I feel funny."

LSD, 25x-NBOMe, and DOx are all active in the microgram range.  That means people can pass off 1/4"x1/4" hits of an RC as LSD.  How common they are:  Very
The scariest thing about the 25x compounds is that they (I'm only speaking from my 25i experience) are almost completely indistinguishable from LSD.  So you could end up buying a sheet or a book of 25i after testing it, and possibly not be the wiser.  25x compounds take longer to set in than LSD, and IME, lack some of the emotional elements of LSD.  They also slightly numb the mouth and area in which you keep the tab in the mouth.

If it's a DOC or 25i then the tag is expensive, but both are lots of fun.  Finding actual quality LSD is pretty rare, and DOC/25i is EVERYWHERE (EVERYWHERE!).  If its 25i you'll have to hold it on your gums to allow the compound to absorb, stomach acid will destroy it.  While you are on it I wouldn't worry about "I took too much and might die!"  I've seen people insufflate 2mg of 25i and they needed to be restrained, but only because they were no longer in this "world". (Trip sitter=NECESSARY)  I've also witnessed someone eat 20mg! of DOC and survive (they've ate a lot of acid) they were just tripping for 30 hrs.

Just make sure you have a full day to recover the next day, and you'll have a blast I'm sure.  Just take one or two at the most until you gauge the strength. 

Best of luck and keep a trip sitter that is strong enough to hold you down if you end up taking too much and start trying to ride the waves of color and flop your head around dangerously (25i excessive).

Don't trust the blacklight "LSD" test, it's easily duped.  Get a marquis reagent and test it, it will signal the presence of DOx.
Most important, stay safe with your friends and surroundings.  Oh and tell ur hookup to drop it down to $5/hit, no RC should be more than that.  Neither should LUCY.  Have fun :-)

Sounds about right for the street value of a vial of DOC.  I've seen them go for $100/vial and turn into $600 on the street.  Be VERY careful if it lasts longer than 9ish hours.  Most likely DOC. :-\

The reason it's so expensive is because the dealer is probably paying anywhere between 3-5 dollars per hit of 25i.. I mean LSD. He is just a businessman and only wants to make the loot IMO:shrug:

well SWIM actuelly said it was very nice and a gentle ride with great visuals? and he said your going to want to eat at least 3 cuz its that good haha idk though. It sure seemed legit.

my friend took 2 and tripped then 7 a week later seem like he should have tripped harder on the seven (3 then 4 a few hours later)
