Twentieth Century Zoo- Thunder On A Clear Day: excellent psychedelic album lost in the 60's overflow of music. Superb mix of hardrock blues and sweeping psychedelica. Can get pretty fucking intense sometimes, It's All In My Head is my go-to song of choice while on any substance

The Deep- Psychedelic Moods of the Deep: There may be another, but as of yet, this is the first 'pure' psychedelic album ever. Lysergic garage rock with over-the-top drugged out lyrics

Nujabes- Modal Soul: Producer from Japan who did the soundtrack for Samurai Champloo. Mostly samples light jazz such as Coltrane. Lovely, summertime music

I'm a huge fan of the "whole album" thing, whether sober or tripping. I hate having to pick through an album for the few good songs, even if they're really good ones. So, with that out front, here are some of the complete albums I like. These apply to tripping or sober, with the asterisked ones being especially great while tripping.

ELP - Brain Salad Surgery (probably deserves an * too)

*The Beatles - Abbey Road, Magical Mystery Tour, Sgt Pepper, the blue album
*Juno Reactor - Bible of Dreams
*Bjork - Homogenic
*Boards of Canada - Music Has the Right to Children, The Campfire Headphase, Geogaddi
Iron & Wine - The Shepherd's Dog
*Orbital - Snivilization
*Funki Porcini - Fast Asleep
The Von Bondies - Pawn Shoppe Heart
Catherine Wheel - Happy Days

Pretty big list... probably have more too. Keep in mind I'm not saying everyone will enjoy all of this, but these are all albums that I can and do listen the full length of. Some are just a perfect collection of songs (ex, The Beatles) where others are entire pieces of work (Younger Brother, Shpongle, The Fountain OST).
