You'd be surprised how many of these stupid errors I encounter in MSc theses. Apparently, "they" lose the ability to distinguish between posting on an internet forum and writing a serious piece of text after fucking up too often :wink:

My wife and I were talking about something similar last night. When I read I can usually take sentences or blocks of text and at the very least get the general point of it or usually be spot on if it's simple text.

Anyone else able to do this? I can read fast as fuck and it stores really well, makes for finding stuff really easy, but makes instant-recall a little bit rough.

I'm the same way more or less. I read really fast unless it's something I'm trying to really understand, then I'll read slower.

But it seems that sometimes for general situations I can skim through a sentence and see major words and more or less piece together what it says that way.
